The Centre for Advanced Studies of African Society (CASAS) is looking for writers of its monographs in Setswana. The monographs, which should be no less than 5000 words, should be on any useful subject which will be of immediate benefit to the general public. This includes matters such as public health, women rights issues, human rights, voting/election matters, sanitation, agricultural issues etc. All the monographs should be written using the Sotho/Tswana orthography developed at CASAS. CASAS therefore would like to invite writers to a training workshop on the Soth/Tswana orthography. The workshop is planned for end of February/beginning of March in Gaborone. Only writers who are developing manuscripts for CASAS are invited to this workshop. This workshop is limited to a small group of between 12 &15 people. If you wish to be part of this workshop please email Prof. Otlogetswe at firstname.lastname@example.org and Prof Chebanne at email@example.com.
